Allulose is a satisfying, low-calorie alternative to table sugar for consumers who are trying to reduce their sugar intake.
This relatively rare sweetener is extracted from nature in small quantities. Allulose helps customers reduce their sugar intake without sacrificing the taste and texture of table sugar.
Allulose can be produced in existing grain processing plants. We are developing immobilized enzymes that enable the efficient production of allulose and other low-calorie sweeteners that serve as sugar alternatives.
