Shaping the Scent Industry Through Iconic Molecular Sustainable Chemistry
IFF-patented molecules have shaped the scent industry into what it is today. Over the last decade, our R&D team discovered and launched over 15 new molecules. This is the most extensive pipeline in the industry and demonstrates innovation and creative drive while embodying the science of chemistry.
Our latest R&D milestone includes establishing a world-leading team of 300 biotech researchers. Working with IFF chemists, this team of researchers will lead the scent regenerative transformation and redefine scent foundations to realize our goal of a regenerative and clean world of plenty.

MEET OUR EXCLUSIVE FRAGRANCE INGREDIENTS
Working with the IFF perfumers around the world, our chemists, process engineers, biotechnology researchers, operations teams, sustainability and regulatory experts, data-scientists and many other innovators, discover and produce hundreds of pioneering molecules, to awaken creation.
Aquaflora
Aquaflora, an ultimately biodegradable molecule, was discovered when applying Oxo technology to tertiary alcohols, and converting the resulting olefines into aldehydes. Its scent: an aldehydic floral freshness, dewy and watery, with a watermelon, melon and cantaloupe fruitiness.
Ambertonic
Ambertonic is a captive molecule, exclusive to IFF perfumers. It's a radical amber, a sensual musk, a carnal powder, an energetic wood. Ambertonic is richly sensual, powerful and earthy: a unique combination.
Cosmofruit
Cosmofruit is a *readily biodegradable molecule, exclusive to IFF perfumers. It's a complex ingredient, a yummy, caramelized apple in a tarte tatin; with floral notes, and the rosy soothing feel of damascone.

LMR Naturals is an industry benchmark for sustainable, high-quality, pure and natural ingredients. Its uniqueness lies in its vertically integrated model, enabled by a team of expert agronomists, physical engineers, geneticists, cosmeticians, and production specialists. They work in close collaboration with the IFF perfumers and our network of farmers and producers to select, farm, harvest and extract our naturals with innovative sustainable processes. The result: made-to-measure natural extracts for perfumers and flavorists around the world.
